DIY Hair Color

     You will need:

Food coloring (later we used frosting dye which worked much better, but if you have blond hair, food coloring will be fine.)

A holding hair product (in this case, spray gel.)

Water (I'm hoping you can find some of that.)

                A spray bottle

Put a little bit of water into it. This is probably a good amount if you want to do your entire head, and happen to have a lot of dye on hand.

Add some of your product. This tutorial has no specific amounts, but you really don't want to overdo this part. Maybe about five drops, and when I say drops, I do NOT mean anything bigger than a drop. For instance, not a "stream", a drop. I feel like I am writing in a weird voice right now. Oh well, whatever.

Now put in a lot of dye. Mix colors to get the shade you want. I used up all of my dye, and it still wasn't enough for this amount of water, so keep that in mind when figuring out amounts.

                                          Shake it up, and spray!

P.S. It might help to put the dye in first.

What I Wore

        So...

I actually had a totally different "What I Wore" planned for this Stylish Saturday, but since the Frog Prince was busy making bows or something, I couldn't find him to take the pictures before we rushed off to co-op.

I took this one instead. I wanted some outside pictures, but of course he was too lazy to do that, and we had to take a picture in our mudroom (his bow and arrow making place, what else). It wouldn't be too good outside anyways, though, since I had straightened my hair and was trying to keep it red-carpet perfect the whole day.

                 Here it is

Nautical Shirt Decoration

So here it is! My first Stylish Saturday!

This is an example of just one of the many ways you can use excess jewelry to spice up a shirt.

If you look very closely at this picture, you will be able to see earrings attached to the shirt.

When our cousins from Illinois come here, they bring a ton of merchandise from Claire's for us and our other cousins.

Last time there were lots of lady bug and anchor earrings, so I took as many anchor ones as possible. I had something like this in mind, but didn't get to create it until I got this shirt as a hand-me down from some friends.

These are the ones most noticeable in the top picture.

I decorated the tops of the shoulders...

...and the bottoms of the sleeves.

I also stuck an earring into each side of the bottom of the shirt.

If you ever stick earrings into your clothes, make sure that you bend the posts with pliers and wear and undershirt underneath it, so that you don't get scratched.

By the way, this whole top did not cost my parents or me a cent!!!

Thanksgiving Make-up

One of my cousins filmed this for me on Thanksgiving. You can barely see the make-up, and the colors are off because of the lighting. If you want to know how I did my hair you can request that.
